ABOUT POSTCARDS HOME
Ten years ago, Claire Sullivan met Ryan MacDonald
while volunteering on Matarua Atoll.
Then they went their separate ways. And somehow,
across years, continents, careers, and everything that
came after, they never quite let each other go.
Claire travels the world as the host of a hit television series, rarely staying anywhere for long. Ryan has built his life in
Ash Hollow, Vermont, the small town where he grew up.
When an unexpected turn brings Claire to Ash Hollow for the autumn, she plans to do what she always does: figure out what comes next. Instead, she finds more time than she expected. Time with Ryan. Time to reckon with the grief she has learned to carry. And a stack of postcards that tells a story she never knew.
After ten years of friendship, Claire and Ryan are
beginning to wonder if they’ve been missing something
that’s been right in front of them all along.
Postcards Home is a warm, emotional story about
friendship, grief, adventure, and falling in love with
a life you never planned.
“A sweeping second-chance love story about ten years, thousands of miles, and the one person who always felt like home.”

THE AUTHOR
Ashleigh Macleod
Ashleigh MacLeod is a writer, former journalist, conservation communicator, small business owner, and lifelong traveler. Raised in Nevada, she studied oceanography in Hawaii before earning a master’s degree in journalism from Boston University, a path that makes considerably more sense if you know how many questions she asks.
She has spent her career telling stories about science, people, food, travel, and the places worth caring about. When she isn’t writing, she’s usually planning her next trip, trying a new restaurant, skiing, doing aerial arts, digging into weird history, or adding another hobby she absolutely does not have time for.
Ashleigh lives in Reno, Nevada, with her husband and a small zoo of animals. Postcards Home is her debut novel.
